Enjoy a special ‘ukulele performance with ULU—Uncle Lincoln’s ʻUkulele ‘ohana visiting from Carson, California. The group, led by kumu ‘ukulele Lincoln Kaio, is made up of kūpuna, many of whom are from Hawaiʻi and now live on the continent. The group has performed at several festivals, sharing tunes of aloha from as early as the 1950s to today. Bishop Museum is honored to have them share their aloha with us. This program is coordinated by the Bishop Museum to celebrate the extraordinary history, culture, and environment of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.
