Mahalo for considering a donation to Aloha Festivals! In 1946, the festival began with a vision to create a public celebration in honor of Hawai‘i’s heritage. Today, Aloha Festivals continues to perpetuate that heritage by remaining the largest free Hawaiian cultural celebration in the United States for the last 73 years. For malihini (visitors), the festival is a vibrant introduction to the unique traditions of the islands. For kama‘aina (Hawai‘i residents), Aloha Festivals is part of growing up in Hawai‘i with generations of families enjoying its events and maintaining its traditions through participation in the Royal Court, Waikīkī Ho‘olaule‘a, and Floral Parade.
Aloha Festivals is determined to keep its signature events free and open to the public. As such, the festivals rely on the support and generosity of Hawai‘i’s community to continue each year. Donations to Aloha Festivals go directly toward ensuring these treasured traditions will be enjoyed for many generations to come. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, donations to Aloha Festivals are tax deductible.
